South Jersey Subs - BBQ, Italian, and Sandwiches in Colorado Springs, CO

I see people posting about things that are not the “Special Italian”, one day I’ll venture out and see if their reviews are accurate… that day was not today. Another Special Italian for me. Maybe when I stop dreaming about it, I’ll try something else. Until then…. Wow, it’s so good! I really can’t say enough about this spot. Tucked away off one of the busiest streets in the city, you’d hardly expect a hometown gem like this. Owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating! The first time I came in I felt like I’d been coming for years. When we talk about “supporting local” this is the type of place we’re talking about! No multi-million dollar marketing budget like the big corporate competitors… just you and I leaving little notes like these :-) try them out! You’ll be back!

We had two delicious sandwiches and an order of fries here for lunch. One roast beef sandwich and one Italian. Everything was very good. Meats were high quality. The fries were actually well made too. Crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. The staff were very friendly and we had excellent service. We highly recommend this place for a sandwich. Reasonable prices and plenty of food.

The best turkey and meatball sub I’ve ever had. The bread so fresh and crispy with the beautiful flour lines knowing that it’s fresh as can be. The turkey fresh and feels so natural that was laid on so generously…perfection. The meatball sub perfectly meaty and moist meatballs with the perfect tang red sauce that made the bread perfectly soggy yet crunchy. These people are angels and I thank God for blessing us with your art.

Definitely the best sandwiches we've had in springs so far. Fresh ingredients and soft bread. I had the Hawaiian and my husband had the special Italian. Great potato salad and delicious pickles! It was our first time eating here, but it won't be the last! The staff is welcoming and friendly which just added to the already great experience.

Off the main drag but totally worth it. Friendly family atmosphere and great food. The milkshake took me back to childhood malt shop memories. So fresh I’m sure they milk the cow in the back! 10/10 will come again!

Best meatball sub, ive had in colorado springs..... not to mention the onion rings. This place is part of my favorite places Now!

I have never been to Jersey but this place is the real deal. Excellent subs. Perfect bread. Shame on you for going to Subway! Eat local.

My favorite deli sandwiches! The Italian cold cut is amazing and so is the ham and turkey sandwiches, they cater and used to cater at my old dealership, I missed them so much I had to stop by and it was delicious as always! Super fast and friendly service and clean store!
